FUNKING THE BAYONETS.
GERMANS FLEE INTO A BOG
"Times jE- Sydney Sun Services."
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, August m
Russians declare that the Germans "funked" the bayonSts at Soldan and fled into a bog. The Russians marched over their dead bodies.
Belgians in Namur say that the Germans are bad riflemen. They nover put their rifles to the shoulder or take aim. They are well organised, but are great cowards, and much afraid of bayonets. When they see one, they turn and run. Turkos declare that "When we hit one German with a bayonet five fall down."
