INQUEST ON RICHMOND'S BODY

Guide Grahafh described the work of the search party, which found steps leading to an avalanche one and three-quarter miles long, and quarter of a mile wide, beyond which steps were not found. . The body of Richmond was found much bruised. A portion of the guide rope to which he was attached had been carried a quarter of a mile away. Tho spot had been considered completely safe. Richmond war? a good guide. Samuel Turner crave evidence that he -saw King's party on the summit about noon on Sunday. He was with the search party and helped to remove tho body to thfc Hermitage.
