The monthly meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held oil Thursday. transfers. • The following transfers Were applied for, and it was resolved to approve under the usual conditions: —J. V. Mrs M. Lee applied to sub-lot sections 19, 20 and 72, block 5, Hun* taka, to A. G., T. H., and M. Wluteinan for five years at £BO per annum. —Approved. The ranger reported on the application ?>f G. Peck to sub-let section 3, block 3 Mount Cerberus, to H. Westlake, and it was resolved to approve. "T. T. Fawekner having been notified'to execute license of section 24, block 4, Mangahao, and not having done so within the statutory period, it was resolved to defer action ponding the report, of the ranger. A. E. Dohnt applied for leave ot absence from section 21, block 5, and. 11, block.9, Huangarua, owing to illness. —Approved. The Commissioner submitted plans and' descriptions of two sections in Hurupi block, comprising areas a»s under: —Section 1, block 14, Hauran; section 1, block 10, Haui angi. It was resolved to adopt the values as submitted; that the land be offered on renewable lease, an<J the sale be held at Martinborough on the same flat€f as that of the Ha,urangi block. T MoL Ross applied to select section 6, block 12, Haurangi, without competition, as an addition to his pre-, sent holding, section 2, block 12, Haurangi.:—lt-.was resolved to defer consideration and deal with it in committee. ' ' " Plans and descriptions were also submitted of the following areas m Haurangi block, the forest reservation of which has recently been removed: —Section 6,; block 12, 1406 a Or OOp-, section 7, block 12, 1430 a Ol OOp \ section 8, block 12, 2747 a3r OOp; section 1, block 16, 3004 a3r OOp; section 2, block 16, 1555 a fir OOp; section: 3, block 10, 2575 aOr OOp; total, 12,718 a 3fr lip.—lt was resolved to fix the prices as noted in the schedules, to classify those areas over 2000 acres as third-class land, and to offer the land for sale or selection under Part 111. of the Land Act of 1908, with the exception pf section 6, block 12, Haurangi, to be offered to Mr J. Ross. The sale is to be held in Mnrtinborough.

GENERAL. T. McKenny, the selector of section 25, block 4, Mangaliao, applied- for section 30, wJiich had been set apart as a creamery site. —Resolved to decline. . . •It was resolved, to remind the board's resolution of. April 25th, 1912, with regard to section 54, block 12, Mount Cerberus, 50 acres, and to approve of it being allot-tod to the adjoining owner, Mr H. T. Ellingham, on occupation with right of purchase .tenure under section 128 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1908, and its amendments, at the capital value or £9°. , , , It was resolved ' that the sum or £2OO as valuation for improvements on section 1, block 16, Mangaone, he paid to the public account.
