OF SUPREME COURT COMMIS-
SIONER
(Received Last Night, 7.35 o'clock.) ; HOBART, Feb. 2-7. • Eveirafd Goldsmid, Commissioner of the Supreme Court at Zeelian, committed suicide under painful circumstances. i
The police received a letter stating: "You will find my corpse in the grandstand of the racecourse. Break the n©wi» gently-'tb my •wife." ' Tile'police found the body and an empty bottle.labelled "cyanide." The deceased was.fifty-four years of age, and was a son of the late MajorGeneral Goldamid, of the Indian Army. • it is stated that the-deceased received a sunstroke while in India.
