MOUNT COOK FATALITY.
(To tHe Editor.) .Sir,—lf my memory is not at fault, you are in error in saving that the late distressing fatality is the first that has taken plaffe__on Mount Cook. In the early 'eighties ajparty of five, led by a Mr Green, of Timaru, came to an untimely end on "Aorangi"— "the Cloud Piercer."—l am, etc., McKENZIE COUNTRY NATIVE. Eketalmna, February 2t. 1914.
