GOVERNMENT SAVED MONEY
(Received Feb. 27 8.35 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 26. Mr Churchill announced in the House of Common® that twelve of the White Star steamers had' been provided with guns at the company's expense, the Admiralty being saved the cost of arming them.
