Thi* militated so-newhat against the attendee, and made it somewhat unrwimi'tablc for the competitors. there was a large attendance of interested spectators, and a pcTci day's 'sport'' wasj provided. Music v..n- rendered by a string band, and afternoon tea was supplied. The whole of the officiala worked well, and the various events were got off well to time. A feature of the sports was the splendid performance of Miss Annie O'Leary, who won six events and was placed in two others. The Eridge Cup, which was held last year by MissMcGregor, went on this occasion to Miss N. O'Dowd. The VVairarapa Championship was won by Miss Annie O'Leary. The results of tho various events were as follow: —

At the conclusion of the sports, the trophies were presented to the winners by the President (Mrs Blackman), Cheers were afterwards given for the judges, the Committee, and the Secretary.
