Following are £he estimated average yields of various New- Zealand crops for the current season: Wheat, 32.33 bushels per acre;" oats, 31.03; barley, 38.31; maize, 54,30; peas, 33.57; ryegrass 503.64 pounds per acre; cocksfoot, 220.48; Chewing's fescue, 282.31; red clover, 174.21; white clover, 123.7f; potatoes, 6.7 tons per acre; turnips, .15.19; mangolds, 31.12.
