Mr Bonar Law, speaking at tho luncheon of the Nonconformists Unionist Association, said the Government, which ordered the soldiera to shoot down on Ulster, would be absolutely snowed under, and the Minister who gave the order would be in greater risk of his life in London than Sir Edward Carson would be in Belfast.
ULSTER VOLUNTEER FORCE
100,000 STRONG. (Received Last Night, 11.40 o'clock.) LONDON, February 26. Tho Daily Telegraph's special correspondent in Ulster says that as the volunteers now exceed 100,000, tho roll will be closed on Saturday. In Belfast alone 27,000 men are drilling, including 3000 picked men, who will go wherover reinforcements are needed. Four hundred motor cars have been ottered to give the corps mobility. Their dependents will receive 20s weekly when tho picked corps have been mobilised.
