Writing of "Within- the Law," which J. iC. Williamson, Ltd., will present at the Towli Hall next Monday evening, March 2nd, the Sydney Morning Herald said : "It is the finest production, taken both histronically and as a play, that has been j.teen at a Sydney theatre for many years. It is ii realistic sketch of life as it is to b'o seen in a certain section of one of the world's capitals to-day, and as such it deserves to rank high as an artistic; achievement of the modern playwright's craft. Pulsating with tho vivid realism of the modern American school of dramatic literature, with the strain frequently relieved by dashes of bright, witty comedy, a strong story, told by means of powerfully drawn natural characters, 'Within tho Law' was enthusiastically received by a very large audience." Referring to Miss Muriel Starr, the same critic wrote: "A very fine actress indeed, whose quietly natural intense acting created .something akin to a sensation, especially so at conclusion of tho third act, when Missi Starr absolutely thrilled the house by her Renunciation of Gilder." A 1 specially strong company will support Miss Starr, including Miss? Mary Worth, Mr Lincoln Plumer, and Mr E. W. Morrison, all of whom aro well known figures on the New York stage. Tho plans are now open at the Dresden .
