Mrs Mace, of "Brammerton," is tlie guest of Mrs Donald, "Maliunga," for a few days. Miss Ruby Gower has gone to Eltliam for a short holiday. Miss Todd is spending a few days in Wellington. On Saturday last Mrs Dyer, with the help of a low friends and theii children, organised a. garden feto in aid of l)r Barnardo's Home. All who took part must bo gratified by the result, the proceeds being over £2O. A Christmas tree proved a great attraction to the children, and Father Christmas and his assistant?.* wero kept very busy. The ice cream and cold drinks sitalls were well patronised, as also was the sweet sitall, fishing pond, and bran tub.
