■"'SOIAXDERS—HINDMAUSHV There was a very largo gathering at" AH Saints' Church, Taradale (Napier) on Wednesday afternoon to witness the marriage of Miss Dorothy Hindmarsh, .second daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Hindmarsh, of Greenmcadows, to Mr Andrew It. Sclanders, of Master ton, son of the late Mr James Sclanders, of Nelson. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Mules, dY Nelson, assisted by the Rev. A. Clarke, of Taradale. The bride looked charming in white satin, with a lovely bodice and tunic of Honiton lace, and a long train with a truo lover's knot in it. She wore an ancient Honiton lace veil belonging to the bridegroom's family, arranged in Juliet cap. fashion. The bride also carried a lovely bouquet of white roses and orange blossoms. The brides,-: niaids, Misses N. and J. Hindmarsfu were attired in the daintiest of voile dresses, caught roiund the skirts with lac© to correspond, with .short sleeves; of tulle with, tiny bands of black velvet. They wore sweet matinee bonnets, with Large pink bows at the; back and lace frill. Mir A. S; MacShane, of Wellington, was best manAfter the ceremony some 80 or !)()■' guests were lavishly entertained at the residence of the bride's parents,, and spent the afternoon on the lawns beneath the shade of the fine old trees which beautify the grounds. As indicating the number of friends which ■the bride and bridegroom have, it nviy be mentioned that a large diningrooin in the house was literally packed with hundreds of beautiful and valuable presents. Subsequently the happy couple left by motor car for tlio south.
