PAH.IATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd. Pahiatua. report on tlioir Pahiatua sale held on Tuesday, 23rd inst., as follows: —We offered a largo yarding of sheep and cattle to a very large attendance of buyers, «»d have to re])ort a tiood clearance, at. late rates. 'The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: — Wo held our weekly sale in the Mangahao yai'ds on Tuesday last, when we offered a medium entry of both sheep and cattle to the usual attendance of buyers. We sold mixed sex hoggets to 16s Bd, empty ewes to 20s, 2-tooth wethers to 17s, springing heifers from £5 15s to £6 12s fid, others to £5 ss, mixed woaners to £1 16s.

WAIPODA STOCK SALE. M( 'ssi s W. and G.- Turnbull and Co. Ltd. (late J. Macintosh and Co.) report having held their usual weekly. Sale in their Waipoua (Masterto.n) sale yards on Wednesday, September 24th, 1913, when they held .their anliual spring cattle sale. There was a very heavy yarding of cattle, which ciamo forward as advertised, and a good yarding of sheep which wero offered to a big attendance of buyers from all parts of tho district, and we are pleased to report having had a very good sale. Amongst our cattle entry we sold a line of 4-year steers on account Wm. Cooper, TSsq.,- at £9 15s ; on account lea Station, a line of 4-year steers at £8 12s; and a line of 3-year steers at £6 15s; on; aoeoiint Rebt. Judd, Esq., a line of threeyear steers at £7 13s. In our sheep entry we sold on account Win. SOLWAY STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows A fair entry of prime bullocks and sheep came forward and sold well at late rates; prime bullocks £ll 10s to £l2, lighter £lO 17s 6d to £ll ss, prime heavy wether 275, prime ewes 255, prime lambs 16s to 16s 9d, lighter 14s 8d to 15s 6d.
