MARRIAGE AND DEATH RATES.
BRITISH FIGURES. Tiroes' —'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. '(Received Sept. 24, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 23. The Registrar-General's report for 1911 shows that Britain's marriage and death rates were below the average for the preceding ten years. The rate was 2.8 under the average—the lowest <on record. The provincial figures for 1912 indicate a further fall.
