IMMORALITY AND SUICIDE. CONSTERNATION CAUSED IN BRESLAU. (Received September 22, "8.10 a.m.) BERLIN, Sept. 21. An extraordinary scandal is causing consternation in Breslau. Fourteen persons have been arrested for immorality. It us alleged that they inveigled seventy-two young school girls at various times to a house in Augusta-Strasse. An army officer, a police official, an architect, and four tradesmen have committed suicide, fearing arrest.
SHOCKING REVELATIONS. STORY NOT FULLY TOLD. (Received Last Night, 11.20 o'clock.) BERLIN, Sept. 22. A shocking feature of the Breslau scandal is the allegation that the parents in several instances were aware and even connived at their daughter's ruin. The majority of the prisoners are men of position and Wealth. There are indications that 'the terrible story is not yet fully told. It is stated that the police officer who suicided was specially entrusted.' with .detecting offences under the .white slave laws.
