A CHILD'S DEATH.
UNDER PECULIAR CIRCUMSTANCES. (By Telegraph. — Press Association.) HAMILTON, Last Night. The threes-yea r-old child of a settler named Redin, residing at Walton, lost its life in a peculiar manner. Its mother and another woman were making soap, and a small quantity of caustic soda-water was left in a dipper. The lifctlo one picked up the vessel while playing, and drank a quantity of the water, with fattd results.
