Ewington has forwarded notice to tlio Town Clerk to move the following motion at the next 'meeting of the Masterton Borough Council: "I hereby give notice to move at the next meeting of the Council that the borough engineer bring down a. report and estimated cost of improving the borough water supply, by tapping the Waingawa river at the gorge.; also re tlio advisability of duplicating the present trunk main,, and increasing the 5..i7.0 of tlio reticulation mains, and any other scheme the engineer •may propose with a. view of placing the proposal before tlio ratepayers at "the earliest possible moment."
