TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON', Last Night. The .Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Offioo, this evening issued the following:— Warm and hazy weather has been experienced, cloudy and misty in parts, and fog and rain in Otago and Southland. A westerly gale is reported at Farewell Spit this afternoon, but moderate to strong northerly winds havo predominated. The barometer lias fallen slowly. Present indications are for mild and hazy weather, with increasing cloudiness and rain probably following generally, with strong northerly winds, veering by west to southerly, after aibout 2-1 hours; the barometer falling in the meantime.
