Bates, of tlio Me f«o--rolo'gical Office, this evening issued the following.:— Moderate to strong westerly winds have predominated, with fair to cloudy weather generally. Tho barometer Ims risen slightly. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, northward of Now Plymouth and Napier, and increasing northerly eke where. Fair to cloudy weather is probable generally with mistiness in parts. The barometer i-s likely to fall fast in tho south, after about twenty-four hours.;
