In the dramatic section there were some capital studies, the favourites being "The Heart of John Barlow" (one tof the -finest .productions the Selig iGbir.pany has turned out, being a very interesting story of the sea), "The Coffin Ship" (an exciting tale of the mysteries, of the sea), "Birds of a Feather," and -"The':" '.Marked Do'Har." The comedies and comics were clever and amusing in the exr treme, and kept the: audience in a good humour, the. principal subjects being "T'ommv Becomes an Actor," "Mandy's Social Whirl," "Hank and Lank," "The Misunderstanding," and "The Governess," the latter in particular being well thought out. An interesting industrial film showed the manufacture of high class pottery and art ware in China. Crosscountry riding by ! a squad of Portuguese cavalry showed the audience some daring feats of horsemanship that were very thrilling. Another thrilling picture wais that entitled I "The Champion of the 'lndian Ariena," which dealt with a fight be- ! tween tiro big elephants, 'and was ' exciting in the extreme. The programme, which was an exceptionally good one, will be repeated this evening-
