STOCK MARKET. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale held on Wednesday as follows:We submitted an average yarding of Bheep, and Ihe quality in all classes being good, competition was keen,and we had no difficulty in quitting the whole of the yardinga slighly increased prices. The entry in cattle consisted principally of empty cows and ! rough steers. Sales were hard to effect, and not much business was done. We quote:—Forward empty ewes, 9s 3d to 9s 6d; 2-tooth ewes, medium lis to 12a; store ewes 6s 3d to 7s 7d; ewes in lamb 12s 3d; besi woolly lambs 9s 9d; shorn lambs 6s 8d to 9s 9d; wethers in forward condition 13s6dto 13s lid: others lis 5d to 12s. Empty cows £2 15s to £3 17s, according t3 condition; bullocks, medium, £5 5s to £5 12a 6d; cows and calves good £2 Is, all counted; cows in milk, £5 ss; empty heifers, £2 14s to £3.
