C, Bates' summary and forecast:—The barometer,has fallen -again in.the South, and-stormy weather has been experienced in most parts southward of New Plymouth, and Napier, especially about Cook anl Foveaux Straits. The weather has, been"somewbat changeable in the North, and westerly winds have prevailed; Present indications are for squally weather and showery weather in most parts with westerly and southerly winds strong (to gale. The barometer *will probably continue very unsteady, rising and falling in the nsxt few, days. ;
