DEATH OF AN OLD IDENTITY.
NINETY-FJVE YEARS OF AGE. By Telegraph—-Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 14. Mrs Ann Anderson, widow of Mr David Anderson, senr., djied the xesidence of her daughter, Mrs Annie AnderEon, Willis Street, this morning. The deceased was born in .. America ninety-five years ago, and came out to New Zealand with her husband in the barque Pilgrim in ' 1849 Mr Anderson settled in Wellington, and built up * a large and ■prosperous business- here. His death occurred a number of years ago. For the past two years Mrs Anderson had .been confined to her bed. She has left a family of four sons (Messrs David,, Edward, Allan and Job Anderson), and four daughters '"(Mesdames, John Bailance, S. S. Griffiths, A. Anderson, and Foreman).
