LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association. fc.. August 20. There was again delightful weather for the Ladies' Golf Championship, and the links were in admirable order, so much so that Mrs Guy Williams, ex-champion, who is in excellent form, put up a links record—ladies —of 89, the previous best being 92. The result of the play to-day leaves the following to meet each other in the third round to-morrow:—Miss Hannay plays Miss Symes, Miss Christie plays Miss Cowper, Miss Brathwaite plays Miss Brandon, Miss Stephenson plays Miss Beatson, Miss Wilson plays Miss Wood, Mrs Bevan plays Miss Hamlin, Mrs Williams plays Miss Humphreys, Mrs Turnbull plays Miss Gould. The handicap finishes drew very large fields. The leading players were as follow:
