■?NAPIER, last night. NELSON <4)v. WAIRARAPA B (nil) This was a rather one-sided game, as Nelson had their own way throughout. Only occasionally did the losers assume the aggressive. Misses Parsonage (2), Hare and Coster scored,
TARANAKI (3) v. HOROWHENUA (nil).
This was a fairly interesting game. The Horowhenua team were one player short, but nevertheless their forwards played with dash. HAWKE'S BAY B (2) v.WELLING- '' TON (1). •This game was not very interesting an 1 the result wa3 unexpected. HAWKE'S BAY A (4) v. WANGANUI (nil).
This was an easy win for Hawke's Bay, w'io had the ypper hand throughout the game. AUCKLAND (2) v. WAIRARAPA A,(l). This was by far the most interesting game on the ground. Both teams played with plenty of dash and combination. The Wairarapa wing forward should pass to her centre quicker; otherwise their forwards are a formidable Int. Auckland were the first, to find the nets, Miss Steele being responsible. This put Wairarapa on their mettle, and ere long they had equalised matters, Miss Humphries, who took a good pass from her backs, finding the nets. Auckland made desperate attempts to win, and after being repulsed several times Miss Steele again found the nets. No further score resulted.
