* HUIA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Huia ' Hockey Club was heid ]ast evening, ' when there was an excellent attendj ance of members. The balance sheet for the year showed a profit of £5 2s. 7he following officers were elected: President, Mrs? Watson: Viee-Pre-siriams, Mrs Hosking, Messrs J. ! Macara, C. Carley, Raioe, and A. .C. Pragnell; Captain, Miss 0. Richards; yice-Gaptain, Miss La Roche; - Secretary and Treasurer, Mies Dalrymple; General Committee, Misses Richards, La Roche, Dalrymple, Peters, Finnis; Selection Committee, Misses Richards, La Roche, and Dalrymple; Delegates to Wairarapa Hockey Association, Misses Richards and Dalrymple. • Nine new members'were elected. . It was decided to open the season next Thursday, on the Lansdowne ground. Mr Macara has very kindly given the club the use of his Lansdowne grounds for the season, and has also donated, a trophy.
