AN AUCKLAND NOMINEE. AUCKLAND, December 6. At a meeting of the Professorial Board of the Auckland University, today, Mr Soloman Netheim Ziman, B.Sc, was nominated for the Rhodes scholarship. He was bom in 1886 at Wellington, where he attended the Clyde Quay school, coming to Auck • land in 1897, where he won the Junior Foundation scholarship. CONDEMNED BUILDINGS.
