CARLTON v. W.P.C.A.

The match between Carlton and W.F.C.A. was concluded on the Park Oval, yesterday afternoon, and resulted in a win for Carlton by 138 runs. With four wickets down for 83, Carlton resumed batting with Boyd (not out 9) and Munro. Both batsmen punished the bowJiag, Munro being partk'ilfarly severe on any loose stuff. The pair raised the total to 123 before Hall bowled Boyd, who had made 24, with an easy ball. Boyd's score included six S's. Moss joined Munro, and the field had another lively time, 150 being up before Smith .caught Moss off Welch. Moss had made 13, including four 3's.
