The summer meeting of the Wairarapa Racing Club will be held on January Ist and 2nd next, for which the stewards have prepared an attractive programme with stakes for the 16 events, totalling 2,115 sovs. The VVairaraoa Cup, of 350 sovs (first day), and the Racing Club Handicap oi 250 sovs (second day) are the principal events of the meeting. The remaining events are liberally •treated, for in no case is the stake less than 100 sovs, second and third money is allowed in every
