WAIRARAPA CRICKET ASSOCIATION.
The adjourned annual meeting of the Wairarapa Cricket Association was held at Carterton last evening. Mr L. Smart presided. Mr W. Redmond moved that the headquarters of the Association should be removed to Masterton tor the season 1907-8. Mr T. E. Maunsell moved an amendment that the secretary and treasurer of the Association be a resident of Masterton, and a member of an affiliated club. The amendment was carried. On the motion of Mr Redmond, Mr F. P. Welch was elected secretary and treasurer. The following additional officers were appointed: —Delegate to New Zealand Cricket Council, Mr G. Devres, of Christchurch; auditor, Mr C. J. MacKellar; selection committee, captains of competing teams. On the motion of Mr Maunsell, rule 8 was amended in the direction of providing that the annual meeting of the Association may be called 1 either by advertisement or circular posted to the secretaries of clubs affiliated to the Association for the time being. It was resolved to allow the "B" team of the Masterton, Carlton and Featherston Clubs to play fourteen men in the senior competition. It was decided to open the season on November 2nd. A vote of thanks was accorded to the retiring secretary, Mr T. E. Maunsell, for his past services. The following fixtures wei'6 drawn up:— November 2nd and 16th, —Carlton B v. Carlton A, Featherston v. Carterton, Masterton A v. Masterton B. November 23rd and 30th. —Carlton B v. Masterton A, Carterton v. Carlton A, Featherston v. Masterton B. December Ist and Bth. —Masterton B v. Carlton B, Featherston v. Carlton A, Masterton A v. Carterton. December 15th and January sth. — Carlton A v. Masterton A, Featherston v. Carlton B, Masterton B v. Carterton. January 12th and 19th.—Carlton B v. Carterton, Masterton A v. Featherston, Masterton B v. Carlton A.
