STOCK REPORT, Messrs Abraham and William?, Ltd., report:—AtPalmerston North, en Thursday, a full yarding [of cattle came forward, including several lines of 1% and 3-year steers, and a good line of 100 4-year bullocks. Competition for grown eteere was fairly good, and ruling rates were well maintained. For any lines of younger steers and well bred mixed yearlings the demand was exceptionally keen. The sheep entrj consisted chiefly of hoggets, for which bidding was easier. The bulk] of the entry was cleared at ruling races.
