STOCK REPORT, Messrs Abraham and William?, Ltd., report:—AtPalmerston North, en Thursday, a full yarding [of cattle came forward, including several lines of 1% and 3-year steers, and a good line of 100 4-year bullocks. Competition for grown eteere was fairly good, and ruling rates were well maintained. For any lines of younger steers and well bred mixed yearlings the demand was exceptionally keen. The sheep entrj consisted chiefly of hoggets, for which bidding was easier. The bulk] of the entry was cleared at ruling races. Quotations: Good hoggets I! 17s, others 12s to 15s, cull hoggets 8s 7d, fat ewes and wethers 20s 3d, forward wethers 17s, store ewes 10s 6d, 2tooth wethers 15s 6d, fat and forward wethers 15s to 16s, low conditioned ewes and lambe 15s lid, fat bullocks £7 lis, forward bul looks £6 12s 6d, 3 year steers £5 2s, 2 to 2}^-year steers £3 15s to £4, 18 month steeis £2 to £2 7s 4d, 18-montb heifers 32a 6d to yearlings 295, store cows 28s to £'Z.
