Whisky purporting to be of two well-known brands bad been purchased, but wheD analysed it was shown to differ materially from the standard. Counsel for the detence submitted that the Aot had no application to putting liquor in bottles and selling it in nips over the counter. It only appliWl to selling full bottles.
