THE EDUCATION BILL. : Received July 31, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, July 31. In the Honee of Cotauons the Education Bill waa read a thirrl time without division after Mr W. H. Lens's amendment to rejeot it had been negatived hy 369 votes to 177 votes. Mr Redmond deolared that the Natjooalists were actually looking for justice to the House of Lords. Other members, who voted with the minority, expressed equal dissatisfaction,
THE CROFTERS ACT. Received July 31, 8.30 a.m. i LONDON, July 30. In the House of Commons, yesterday, the Crofters Act Amendment Bill, introduced by tbe Right Hon. Captain Sinclair, Secretary for Scotland, was read a first time. The measure applies to all holdings in Scotland the principles of fair rent and fixity of tenure when the rent does not exceed £SO per annum.
