AN EXCITING EXPERIENCE.
MOTORISTS MOBBED. (

Mr W.'K. Vanderbilt, a wellknown American capitalist, had an exciting experience at Pisa, a popular winter health resort in Tuscany. While motoring through Mr Vanderbilt kuucked down a little girl—an accident whioh aroused the indignation of the townspeople.
The latter mobbed the motor-oar, whereupon Mr Vanderbilt drew a revolver. The mob retaliated by showering fruit, vegetables and mud on the oar. Mrs Vanderbilt, who was accompanying her husband, fainted. Eventually Carabineers rescued Mr and Mrs Vanderbilt. just as they were being dragged from the motor car.
