AN ENJOYABLE CONCERT.

The choir of St. Andrew's Church, Trentham, was responsible for an excellent concert, programme in the Church Hall on Wednesday, August 19. In addition to choruses, rendered very tastefully by the choir, items were Riven by Misses J. Castle, R. Pierard, N. Pearce, M. Milligan and Messrs. Campbell and Chappell. A.n action sonsj - bv M isses B. Bremner, B. Eckersley, D. and J. Thompson, and a very amusing one-act play by members of the choir, completed the programme. The Rev. G. W. Hunt complimented the choir on its achievements and thanked all those concerned who had been responsible for the entertainment, including Mrs. Craib, as accompanist, and Mrs. Pierard, as choir leader. Supper, which was generously provided by the ladies, and a community sing - , concluded a most enjoyable evening-.
