"THE MAN WHO BROKE THE BANK AT MONTE CARLO."

Set in the gay capitols of Europe and teeming- with the brilliancy and colour of the continental smart set, the picture has Ronald Colman and Joan Bennett in the lead. The supporting- cast includes Colin Clive, Nigel Bruce, Montagu Love, Frank Reicher, Lionel Pape, Ferdinand Grottschalk and Charles Fallon. Colman enacts the role of a penniless Russian prince who uses the savings of a number of expatriate friends to run a handful of francs into ten million in the Sporting Club at Monte Carlo. Miss Bennett has the role of the girl hired by the gambling syndicate to lure Colan back to Monte Carlo for another session at the tables. She falls in love with the man she is paid to deceive. She leads Colman on a trail of romance, moonlight and kisses that ends right back in Monte Carlo, while she remorsefully prays that he will win again. A series of surprising episodes brings a happy ending to the difficulties in which the young lovers find themselves.
