"RUSTICS" CONCERT COMPANY.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —It has come to the ears of the niembers of the above company that part of the proceeds of their concert to be given on October 22nd is for their jiensonal benefit. M'c wish to contra-' diet this. The company are to take from the proceeds sufficient fo pay the expenses of the, Hull, lighting, stageeffects and music, the remainder goes to the I'nllen'Soldiers,' Memorial Fund. Surely this is reasonable. During the war and since, several concerts have, been given by the members of this company, and each time the members themselves paid for the music and stage costumes. Noiv (hat there is not (lie same need for patriotic efforts, and that music and stage furnishings are so expensive, it seems to us only reasonable that these should be paid for out of the proceeds of the concert.—l am, etc., A. NICHOLS, Convenor.
