1 The Tees to he Charged. Dunedin, Sept. 12. lion. U. W. liusael (Minister for Internal Affairs) states that the regulations regarding the .State! censorship of cinema iilms luive been completed and .will be gazetted next week. A Board of Appeal will be established, consisting of three persons, who will be appointed shortly. A majority of two will deride any point in an nppeal of owners against the censorship of their films. The regulations provide the following fees : —First, for examination by the censor, a fee of 5s for the iirst thousand feet' or portion thereof ;• second, lis till for every 50(lft. after the lirst 1000 ft ; third; the same fee to be charged for re-examination of censored lilms after excision by the owners on the censor's instructions ; fourth, on appeal there will be a .fee of 10s per 1000.lt. with a minimum charge of ).!0s for each lilm. The Act provides that all films must be submitted for censoring after October 1, but in order to avoid hardship and confusion iilms on circuit at that time will not be called np unless a com - plaint is made against them.
