WEDDING BELLS.
Jamieson—Christie. Prom the Express, a Home paper just to hand, wo take the following reference to the marriage of Miss Isabella Christie, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs D. L. Christie, of Lawrence, which was celebrated on the 12th July, 1916 : A BRIDE FROM NEW ZEALAND. A wedding took place on Friday* at the Presbyterian Church between Mr Duncan McGregor Jamieson, son of Mr and Mrs Janiiesou, of 8, Cotswoldgardons, East Ham. and Miss Isabella Dugiiid Christie, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. I...Christie, of New Zealand. 'Hie ceremony was conducted by the Kov. (iwossin Jenkins. The bride was given away by her ■ brother, Corpl. 1). Christie, of the An/.ac I Colonial Forces, who has received short leave from the front ; and Miss 0. Jamieson and Miss B. Jamieson, bisters of the bridegroom, acted as bridesmaids. Engineer-Lieut. J. Jamieson, 8.N., acted as best man. The ceremony was attended by a large number of relatives and friends, including Engineer-Lieut. D. Redfern, R.X., Mr and Mrs Logan, Mr and Miss Morton ; and the reception was afterwards held at the house of the bridegroom's father.
