Milling Velvet is offering very sparingly, and any lines of this description 'arc readily taken by millers at quotations. Fowl wheat is not so plentiful, and is meeting with a ready demand at quotations—Wo quote : Choke milling Velvet iis to Cs 3d, choice lines of milling Tuscan :4s 6d to.4s 9d, medium milling '4s'ld to 4a 4d, best wholo'fowl wheat Jis lOd to 4s per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes.—Consignments ha,vc been coming forward freely of late. The bulk of these, however, have boon showing signs of frost,; and this necesitates picking over. There is a steady demand for lines of choice quality, well graded tables which'are readily quitted on arrival at quotations. Faulty linos are not receiving the same attention, and are more difficult to place. Seed lines have been receiving more attention, and lines of well graded seed, free from disease, are readily placed. We quote— Good tables £7 to £7 10s, others from £5 to £7 per ton, sacks in. Chaff. —Increased consignments have been coming forward. Choice quality is receiving most attention from buyers.
