OTAGO WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION.

The local branch of the above foi'dwarded to Duncdin at the end of last week the July case of goods. It was for the expeditionary force Fund and contained the following :—SB service bags, 60 soap bags, 56 tea towels, 28 balaclavas, 24 pairs socks, 39 pairs mittens (also empty tins and books). Of the above the Lawrence District High School sent in 7 pairs mittens, 8 balaclavas, 1 pair socks. Dominion Parcels for July : Mesdames Sinclair and Darton, 3 lbs wool (sale of goods) ; subscriptions of 2/6 from the following : Mesdames Darton, W. Anderson, W. E. Smyth, T. Fahey, J. K. Simpson, R. J. Montgomery, Misses Bart, Johnson (2), Bell (2), D. and Z. Hart, "Three Cousins," M. Darton, "Friend of the Boys," Mr H. Bruce, Fahey Boys,'' Tobacco'' Is.
