Eloquent French Eulogy. Paris, July 16. The Figaro writes thus : " Germany is the strongest military nation since the days of Rome, wliosc national industry was war. She was armed to the teeth, and lias now found Britain stepping into the breach with no army to speak of. Britain did not know what war really meant. In two years she has produced two armies which will to-morrow be the largest on the western front. Already she holds up and thrashes the mighty German Empire."
