TO KEEP RAW MEAT.
Run'a little vinegar over a large "dish, then' plice two pieces of stick'across, lay'the joint on the Sticks, and 1 the meat will keep quite fresh during the hottest weather. It will also prevent flies attacking it, since they dislike the smell of vinegar. Store in a cool pantry.
