PROPHECY COMES TRUE. The papers in Puis reproduco a letter published in the July number of the Bevue des Deux Mondes, written in 1870 by Ernile Ollivier, Premier of France at the beginning of the Franco-Prussian war, to the King of Prussia, after the second Napoleon's fall. The letter contains prophetic messages, such as: "If you touch our territory you open a new thirty years' war. If you are disinterested you prepare an indissoluble alliance of the Latin and German races. If you behave as a conqueror you are. preparing against Prussia an alliance of the Slav and Latin races.
