Wheat.—ln the absence of supplies, there is no business passing, and it is difficult to state values.

Potatoes.—There is a good enquiry for prime freshly picked tubers, but very few of this description are coming forward with the result that values for these are slightly nrnur. Stronach, Morris and Co., Ltd., report lor weak ended Thursday,, 3rd Desember, 11)14, as follows •i'at Sheep.—l7o4 were yarded. At the beginning of the sale prices were equal to last week but improvod !to the extent of Is per head towards the end. Quotations—Prime weth'ers 2Sb to 33b, extra heavy to 51s, gocd 26s to 27s (id, light 22s 6d to 24s lid, prime ewes 28s to 33s 6d, extra heavy to 4as tid, good 23s to 255, light 21s to 225«6d. l'at' Lambs.—-2iio were penned. Owing to this number being more than rebuked, prices showed a drop of ;ig per head all round. Quotations—Beat lambs 18s to IDs, good His to 117s *Gd, light 14s to l'ss 6d. Fat Cattle.—2oo head were yarded. Competition was not keen and prices showed a drop oft 15s to 20s per head. Best bullocks £l4 14s to £ls 1*36, extra good to £lO, good £l2 to £l3 10b, light ,£lO to £ll 10s, best cowa and Heifers |£ll ,10s to £l4, good £2 10s to £8 10s, light £6 to £B' per (head. Pigs.—s6 fat pigs and 90 stores ware yarded. Prices all round were ■slightly better than at last sale. Quotations—Suckers to 12s 6d, slips Ws to 18s, -stores 21s to 30b, porkers 38s to 455, light baconers to 565, heavy baconers to 765, choppers to 80s.

were much on a par with last sale. Tallow and Pat.—Prices rule much the same, all coming forward being readily sold. Quotations—Best rendered tallow in casks to 23s tid, in i tins to 225, good 17s to 18s, medium lis to 16s, best rough fat to 17s, medium His to 15b. Oats.—Offerings are again light and very little business is passing. Quotations.—Prime milling Cartons 2s 8d to 2s 9d, good to best feed 2s 7d to 28 Sikl, inferior to mediium 2s to 2s (id per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat.—There is no business being done. , Chaff.—Consignments are not plentiful and any prime lines are readily sold.
