PRAISES HIS ARMY. IN HIGHEST POSSIBLE TERMS. LONDON, Dec. 1. Sir John French has issued the iollowing order to the troops " 1 have made many calls upon you, and the answers you have made are counted to you, to your regiments, and to the army for honor and glory. Your fighting qualities, courage, and endurance have been subjected to the most trying and severest tests. You have maintained the magnificent British traditions and added to their lustre."
NORTH SEA SEIZURE. PROTEST BY NORWAY. COPENHAGEN, December 4. Norway has protested against Germany's seizure of the Helicon'b coal cargo. SOUTH AFRICAN REBELS. ' ROUNDING THEH UP. CAPETOWN, Dec. 4. The rounding-up of the rebels continues, and several hundred have been captured in small batches.
