Hospital Saturday Collection

Since the last issue the following i additional amounts have been received : Miss Eva Hart (Wetherstones) £3 L's 3d. The Waitahuna' collection, organised by Mr F. Whelan, was a splendid success, totalling £ll 3s (id, and, the names of the young lady collectors and amounts are as follows Miss R. Craig, £2 Os 8d ; Miss E. Henry, £] 13s Id; Miss E. Craig £4 15s 8d ; Miss Mabel Low, £2 14s Id ; —total £]J 3s 6d. The Waitahuna subscribers have expressed a wish that more than onequarter should be devoted to the lielgian Fund, and Mr J. J. • Woods (the local organiser) has made application accordingly. The peoplq of Tuapeka district have excelled themeelves. on this occasion in generosity j with more yet to come 'lin from the _outjing district, .
