Messrs Dalgety . and Co., Ltd., report as follows On Monday we held our usual weekly auction sale ,of skins when we | again offered a very large catalogue comprising all classes of skins. Included in it were some very line lilies of winter skins from Central Otago which were eagerly competed for, and sold at prices fully up to those realised a fortnight ago. Hi ' Winter Does.—We topped the market with two very nice lines of selected skins which brought 42Jd per lb. Both lots were picked from consignments from our Central Okigo clients. Winter bucks from the sarnie consignments realised irom 22{d to 2kl, prime winter blacks 3uid, spotted winter blacks 28-id, fawns 2<kl. Litcs of prime whiter does from thq same district realised from 35d to 37d. All other classes of,skins sold corrospomiingily well. We have every conlidence in rcccmmeijding consignments as the market closed firm and present indications point to it remaining so.
