Mr (J. 0. Taylor, who recently disposed of his pharmacy business in Lawrence and has since purchased a similar business in the Hawkes Iky district, North Island, is at present in Lawrence. He is looking well and is pleased with his prospects in the north.

The Bruce constituency was represented at the Reform Party Conference in Wellington last week by Messrs J. B, M'Kinlay (Lawrence) and K. G- Cotton (Waipori). Mr M'Kinlay returned to Lawrence on Saturday night more enthusiastic than ever as to the prospects of the Reform Government under the leadership of the Hon. W. F. Massey.
