NEW .ZEALANDERS PROMINENT. A PINE RECORD. SYDNEY, August 5. The New Zealand-brad Clydesdale stallion Plucky! Willie and his progeny figured prominently at tint Roy a l Horse Show. ■ Plucky Willie seciu-ed the 11.'.l guineas premium awarded for the best draught stallion in the show'., and secured first prize for the best stallion. Koyul Willie and Gallant Willie, two of his sons, were awarded firsts in the three-year-old and two-year-old classes respectively, whil e a daughter scored tirst prize for lillv under three years. Tho Now Zealand bred horses Hilton Lass and Pride secured first and second prizes in the class for mares over four years, and the New Zealand-bred maro Miss Murray was placed first in the class for three-year-oht mares. Sylvanilc topped the list of thoroughbred stallions, and Port Jackson that of mares. At the horse sales in connection with the show bidding was slack and prices low.
